New Wood Fired Work by David Bolton

This solo exhibition by David Bolton, professor of ceramics at the College of Lake County in Greyslake, IL featured new wood-fired work inspired by his love of textiles and pattern. Each piece is a labor of love. Thrown and altered, patterns masked and sandblasted and then fired over several days in a wood kiln, these pieces are a testiment of ceramics' rich journey, both it's past and it's future.
