Loftus House, the residency building for visiting artists, is named after Franciscan Friar Loftus who was a poet. The two-story brick building has been a home to Franciscan faculty, friars, and nuns. The first floor has two large bedrooms, a full bathroom, a conference room, a sitting room, a dining room, and a kitchen. The second floor has four bedrooms for residents and a full bath. Each resident's room has a sink, table or desk, chest of drawers, chairs, and a full-sized bed. Residents are welcome to use the washer/dryer located in the basement.
